Fall Fashion in Puerto Rico

Guys I am back home for a few months and I am missing the fall weather right now. I love my “Isla de Puerto Rico” but it is HOT, although my mother says that is perfect weather, I am melting. Enough of me rambling about hot weather and lets dive into Fall Fashion in Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico is located in the Caribbean so here we don’t experience the changes of the different seasons. The temperature might lower down to the 80’s and higher 70’s during “fall” and “winter” but not more than that. We do fall fashion the Puerto Rican way!

Fall fashion is characterized for its warm colors with different tones of  browns, mustards, brick reds, maroons, greens, oranges etc.. and in Puerto Rico you can find all those beautiful colors in stores all around. There is just a slight difference, we don’t walk around with a hunky warm sweater, rather with a skinny strap dress, a strapless dress, shorts and tank tops.

Bellow I will share with you three dresses that represent my take on Fall Fashion in Puerto Rico.

Dress Number 1

My Movie 1

This beautiful dress was a great find, I only paid $5.99 for it and I love it. I love it so much that I got it in another color as well. To me this dress screams Puerto Rican Fall Fashion. It is simple and so easy to throw on. I pair it with brown wedges to elevate the look a little more but this dress can also be worn with flat sandals or even from flats. If sandals and wedges are not your cup of tea, you can easily pair with a pair of nude heels.

This dress is perfect for  a day out in the town, catching up with friends over drinks and food, or simply just strolling down the beach.

Dress Number 2

This dress is one of my favorites! Love the flowers in tones of brown and light pink with green flowers. I pair this dress with wedges for a very casual but chic look. I decided to wear my hair up and it really makes the whole look be complete. You can also pair this dress with some nude high heels and a clutch for a night time look. This dress was also a great find, it is from the store Kress (Puerto Rican clothing chain) and it was only $9.50.

I really can see myself wearing this dress for any family events, on a date night with my love, for a ladies night out!

Dress Number 3

This dress is the same one as the first one but in different tones of browns and beige. This dress is so comfortable and easy to style. I kept it simple with wedges but I can easily elevate this dress by pairing it with some brown or nude heels and a clutch. This dress is perfect for any occasion were you want people to see that you are put together but with the least amount of effort.
